Intent Consulting is a leadership development and organizational assessment firm working at the intersection of psychology, strategy, and culture. Our work spans executive coaching, facilitation, organizational diagnostics, keynote speaking, and publishing.

We work primarily with leaders and teams at large pharmaceutical companies, financial services firms, and technology organizations — settings where the stakes are high, the pressure is sustained, and the difference between good and great leadership is most visible.

Resilient Teams emerged from a recurring observation across those engagements: leaders consistently knew that something in their team needed attention, but rarely had the tools to name what or where. The ORI was built to close that gap.

What we believe

Resilience is not a personality trait.

The dominant narrative about resilience treats it as something individuals either have or don’t. Our work, and the literature it draws from, suggests something different — that resilience is largely a function of the conditions a team is operating in, and that those conditions are designable.

A team without purpose will look dysregulated. A team without social support will look like it lacks grit. A team running on initiative alone will look optimistic right up until it burns out. The seven dimensions in the ORI are not seven personality traits to grow in your people. They are seven conditions to build in your organization.
